Day three of College Awareness Week was a busy one in St. Kevin's. Kay Mitchell from Maynooth University spoke to our 6th Year students on progression pathways. Senior students also attended a talk from ESB Networks on their apprenticeship opportunities.
Our Fifth and Transition Year students travelled to our neighbours in Coláiste Chraobh Abhann for a Careers Fair. Students had the opportunity to speak to representatives from colleges like UCD, Trinity College and DCU. There were even stands from an Garda Síochána and the ESB, among others. There was a quiz for the students to tackle, and prizes for the winners. Students were then given a talk from National College of Ireland.
We would like to thank all at CCA for their hospitality today. We would especially like to thank Ms Garvey, Ms Dooley and Mr Stack for organising such an interesting and informative Careers Fair.
Thank you to all of the speakers today, and to everyone who is helping to make this College Awareness Week so successful!
