Over the last two weeks Sixth Year Geography students headed off to complete their Geographical Investigation as part of their Leaving Certificate Geography Exam, which will form 20% of their overall grade. Thankfully, the weather held up for each of the groups as they investigated the impact of the processes of transportation and deposition on the shaping of the River Liffey. Throughout the day students measured the rivers velocity, analysed the cross-section, calculated the sinuosity of the river, analysed the bedload, and calculated the gradient of the river. Well done to everyone involved.
