We at St. Kevin's would like to congratulate First-Year student, Lloyd Tomkins, for winning in his category of the "Decade of Centenaries" Irish History Competition for primary and post primary schools 2021. The competition was organised by the Department of Education and University College Cork - School of History. Lloyd entered the competition under the category "Ireland and the First World War" and did a project on his great grand uncle, who fought in World War 1. Lloyd completed the project in the last academic year while in primary school. Jonathan Swift National School organised a fantastic event and award ceremony for Lloyd of which we were delighted to be a part of and enjoy this fantastic achievement.
