This week ten of our Digital Leaders had the opportunity to visit the Microsoft Dream Space at One Microsoft Place South County Business Park, Dublin. St Kevin's was one of five selected schools to attend the hugely impressive and interactive DreamSpace. Our students took part in a range of activities on the day including;
1- Designing and coding their very own retro arcade game (product).
2- Working collaboratively to pitch, present and sell their game to a panel of Microsoft experts and judges.
3- Fielding and answering questions on their design and business model for their product.
4- Critically analysing and evaluating their product and business model.
Our Digital Leaders excelled on the day creating and presenting products of a very high standard and specification. Their presentation skills and team work skills were excellent. Our students also investigated a wide range of IT Careers including; Engineering, PR Roles, HR Roles, etc. Well done to everyone involved and we look forward in continuing to excel through the medium of IT in the future.
